The 2021 Aloxe Corton Les Combes is pretty, gracious and a bit fleeting but attractive for what it is. Sweet red cherry, mint, spice, dried flowers, incense and cedar give this light-bodied Aloxe lovely aromatic complexity. Slightly dried-out fruit and a light structure make me think the 2021 is a near-term drinker. – Antonio Galloni
